Phil Godfrey, 67, is walking 1,400 miles from the Isles of Scilly to the Shetland Isles in memory of his wife Christine who was diagnosed with APS in 2005 and who passed away in January 2015.
Good day overall
Started from Perranporth ( good night with lovely generous couple) with mist but soon cleared, at first across Dunes – hard work but made reasonable progress. Holywell Bay lots of house’s – no Pub !
Crossed to Newquay over the River Gannet by use of low tide bridge, which was only achievable by crossing large area of soft sand.
Equipment obtained from Cotswold O L in Solihull is working well, thanks Simon and Aidan
