This well attended event was supported by 3 local food producers : Artisan bread (Bobby Oag), Humes of Orkney and Porkney Pies.
Your reporter found himself making return trips to all 3 tables just to make sure.
50 wines were on offer this evening with New Zealand and Spain featuring strongly including a white as well traditional red Port at the end.
Duncan Mclean of Kirkness and Gorie said that the event carried on the original tradition of Kirkness and Gorie which in 1859 sold local produce alongside produce not obtainable elsewhere in the County.
