Surprise surprise it’s raining again🌧🌧. Decided to have another road trip.

Today we are travelling from Invergarry to Mallaig via Spean Bridge, Corpach and Glenfinnan where there is a monument to Bonnie Prince Charlie. This was the  starting point of the Jacobite rising in the year 1745 when Prince Charles Edward Stuart raised his standard on the banks of Loch Shiel. Glenfinnan’s viaduct was also used in the famous Harry Potter movies which transported  them to Hogwarts.

We then travelled on to Arisaig where we had a car picnic.

We then arrived at Mallaig.

Couldnae believe it 🌧🐱🌨 🐶again.

The return trip was a more demanding route back as we took the A861 through Moidart hoping to bump into Legolas and Frodo😉but alas they did not appear, probably due to the monsoon that fell fae the sky🌧🌬🌧🌬🌪. We stopped at Resipole for a few photies.

The road from here is a long and winding road(reminds me of a song🤔) most of the way to the Corran Ferry, which is a short trip across the water to Inchree.

The trip back to Ardgarry Farm lodges in Invergarry is interesting with plenty of sites to see but that’s for another day  trip me thinks.
