Phil Godfrey is planning to walk from the Scillies Isles right on to Shetland. This is in memory of his wife Christine who was diagnosed with APS in 2005 and who passed away in January 2015. Due to injuries sustained early on he is doing this in stages.

Had a very good night at the Youth Hostel, shared a room with 2 brothers from Zimbabwe, very quiet and left early.

Left the Hostel at 8am with a beautiful morning, and the adjacent farmer had nearly finished cutting his grass field.

Good paths through the Forest, only problem was at lunch time Redbrook had NO Pub !!

Arrived at Connie’s, in Wyreshamin time to have an interview with a reporter from the Monmouth Beacon. Went well, complete with pictures.
