A national qualification in child care available at UHI Orkney Campus has been given a 95% satisfaction rating by its students well above the Scottish average of 79%.
The BA Childhood Practice (BACP) offers practitioners in a wide range of early years and childcare settings the opportunity to gain the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) qualification to be a lead practitioner or manager.
The recent National Student Survey (NSS) results for the BACP delivered at the Orkney campus had 100% of the students saying that they were being given opportunities to explore ideas or concepts in depth compared to the Scottish average of 82%.
