Wildflower Seed Collecting on Onziebust Reserve, Egilsay – Thursday 30th August
Orkney’s RSPB is holding a wildflower seed collecting event on Egilsay on Thursday 30th August.

The event will cover:
- how and when to collect wildflower seeds
- how to prepare and store them
- how to plant and grow them
- and how to use seeds or plug plants in gardens and meadows
There will be a presentation about wildflower seed collecting and samples of a variety of seeds.
There will also be a walk around the RSPB reserve, looking at wildflowers in flowery meadows and along verges and collecting seeds.
