What do you think of Primary 1 Assessments?

An independent review into the Scottish Government’s Primary One Assessments is keen to hear from a wide range of people.

The Scottish Government have had to back pedal on the introduction of the assessments/tests after a considerable negative reaction to them by some teachers, parents and opposition politicians.

As a result John Swinney, Deputy First Minister in the Scottish Government, set up the independent review. Independent Review to Assess Primary 1 Testing

David Reedy who is leading the review said:

“I encourage anyone with an interest to get in touch with the review, particularly those with experience of the assessments during the 2018/19 academic session.”

The review will consider and provide recommendations on the following issues:

The Scottish Parliament Building

The recommendations and conclusions of the review will be taken to the Scottish Parliament for discussion.
