This weekend sees the sixth Sooth Isles Craft Show so we thought we’d go along yesterday to have a wee look see, and believe you me even if we hadn’t; the smell of Lentil soup emanating from the kitchen would have been enough in itself to entice us through the door.
As always there is a vast array of goods on offer which is being displayed over two floors; there was Clover May Jewellery
Glass Designs by Carrie Paxton
Wall Art by S W Stanger
Orkney Beach Art from Robert Wells
or Callie Bland’s Bap Wraps (fantastic idea)
or keeping everything natural with your skincare regime with Carol Even’s Orkney Organics
there is absolutely masses on show to choose from.
Around thirty exhibitors were there and once again it has to be said, it never ceases to amaze me the amount of talent that there is here in Orkney.
Here is a wee slide show of tables that were there.
You may be thinking that it’s only the 10th of November and a little too early to be thinking of doing your Christmas shopping, but the Sooth Isles Craft Show is definitely well worth a visit today; as it’s the perfect opportunity to do much of your Christmas shopping; with the added advantage of it all being under one roof.
As it’s on from lunchtime why not plan your afternoon over a bite to eat whilst you’re there.
It’s in the Cromarty Hall, St Margarets Hope and is open from 12-4pm today Sunday 10th November.
