This time of year shows us another reason for leaving our grass to go to meadow – the meadow is full of little birds, gorging on the seeds of ‘weeds’ and grasses. The first pics are a bit muzzy, as they were taken through the window………….
and
We can hardly keep up with the peanuts in the bird feeders – we reckon that the local baby starlings and sparrers must be just about 90% peanut!
And, while waiting to get onto the feeder, they sit on the fence and the roof of the bird table, tapping their little claws, impatiently……
