News From Orkney Islands Council
From Tuesday 4 August both Hatston and Garson Household Waste Recycling Centres will again be able to accept waste electrical and electronic equipment.
This means they now accept;
- Black bag waste
- Bulky household waste
- Garden waste
- Cardboard
- Electrical waste and electronic equipment.
The current restrictions remain in place meaning that no more than five cars at a time are allowed on site at Hatston and three at a time at Garson.
Opening hours are 09:00 to 15:45 at Hatston and 10:00 to 15:45 at Garson from Tuesday to Saturday, with both closed from 12:00 to 13:00.
