Week Ten – One Day At A Time

By Bernie Bell

Pics mostly by McB

March the Fifth……..Tatties…….in their trays…on the shelves in the garage window.  OK tatties – get chittin’!

March the Sixth……The idea was to find something in each day to admire or enjoy……and today was…….fish fingers, beans and chips!  Keep it simple – easy tea after gardening….

March the Seventh…..Is it an island?…No, it’s Wideford Hill, rising through the early morning mist……

March the Eighth………A March Hare among the daffodil shoots.  In 2010 we’d just planted some small willows when the big snow came.   The willow stems were one of the few things sticking up out of the snow, and the hares ate them!  A hare’s gotta eat………..

March the Ninth………A Threesome!!!  Ooo-er Missus…….  I’m not sure how Mrs. Frog feels about this!

March the Tenth………….”I light this candle and dedicate it to Peace and Healing for all the world.”   Acknowledging the Tibetan uprising on the 10th of March 1959.  Thoughts of freedom.  https://theorkneynews.scot/2018/03/17/a-bit-of-a-rant-about-respect/

March the Eleventh……Walking down the track…..stones tapping?……..Stonechat!

  1. I used to love fish fingers, beans and chips as a kid. I have to make pretty much the same meal but with vegetable fingers nowadays. Not had any meat products in six months. Just as good though on a cold winter’s night.
