A dry day. A lot of cloud once again across Orkney and northern Shetland, and a good chance of some warm sunny spells over west Shetland and perhaps Hoy and the west Orkney mainland. Light winds. Maximum temperature 14 °C.

Tonight:

Some late sunshine in sheltered western areas. Low cloud and haar will become more widespread across Orkney later this evening and tonight. More variable cloud and clearer spells over Shetland. Minimum temperature 6 °C.

Saturday 29th May:

A dry day. some sunshine, best over western Orkney and northern Shetland, but low cloud and haar over eastern Orkney spreading up to Shetland later. Light winds, warm in sunshine. Maximum temperature 16 °C.

Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:

Plenty of low cloud and haar on Sunday but sun breaking through in sheltered western areas. More sunshine on Monday and Tuesday, still haar risk over Shetland. Warm.
