Blustery showers continuing through the night, more in the way of clear spells for Orkney and a cooler night than of later. Winds easing by dawn. Minimum temperature 6 °C.
Saturday 16th October:
Showers dying away on Saturday morning with some brighter weather for much of the day but increasing cloud later. Light winds. Maximum temperature 11 °C.
Outlook for Sunday to Tuesday:
Some uncertainty in this period but outbreaks of rain likely on Sunday before strong southwesterly winds return on Monday and Tuesday and periods of rain.
