  1. Meanwhile in England… ‘Due to a processing error, a number of people who died within 28 days of a positive COVID-19 test in 2022 were not reported in a timely manner. 2,714 deaths within 28 days of a positive test were added retrospectively on 6 April 2022’ (https://coronavirus.data.gov.uk/details/whats-new/record/fc65dfd1-35db-413a-ac52-4d43fdabf2db).
It does not say over which period these poor folks died but ‘in 2022’ would suggest the period covers the last three months.
This is a substantial number of so far underreported fatalities… in a comparatively highly vaccinated population and during the prevalence of a ‘mild’ variant. Turns out, even when deducting the underreported fatalities from the total, the ‘mild’ variant is still able to cause significant harm: 368 deaths reported yesterday, 233 today…
Not reporting ‘in a timely manner’ can basically be interpreted as work not done in an appropriate manner. And the question arises, how reliable any data actually is which comes from the government.
