Rather cloudy with still a few light showers although dry much of the time. More persistent light rain will edge in from the west this evening. Winds becoming southerly and strengthening later. Maximum temperature 11 °C.

Tonight:

Cloudy with patches of light rain at first. The rain will become more persistent and heavier later tonight, accompanied by a strong southerly wind. Minimum temperature 9 °C.

Wednesday 12th October:

Cloudy with outbreaks of rain, clearing away during the morning. Drier, brighter weather following for afternoon with sunny spells and just an isolated light shower. Lighter westerly winds. Maximum temperature 12 °C.

Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:

Dry, bright for much of Thursday. Rain and southeasterly gales reaching the Isles on Thursday night with blustery showers following on Friday. Further showers and strong westerly winds on Saturday.
