Dear Orkney News,
Royal Mail want to maintain the 6-day delivery for First Class mail, but decrease Second Class deliveries to every second day!
This was made public the day after stamps at both levels went up in price, so we will be paying a higher price for half the service at Second Class!
I do wonder what our MP will have to say about the effect of this on Orkney and Shetland, bearing in mind that he was part of the UK government that privatised Royal Mail!
