6 Candidates Standing in Orkney & Shetland #GE24

There are six candidates standing in the General Election on 4th of July for the Orkney and Shetland Constituency.

You have one vote in the General Election which is First Past the Post – an X in one box on the ballot paper – to elect a Member of Parliament to serve in the House of Commons, London.

On July 4th polling stations will be open from 7:00am to 10:00pm – with the counting of votes then taking place at Kirkwall Grammar School, Kirkwall, Orkney overnight, with a result expected on the morning of July 5.
