A cold, wet and windy Saturday 29th of June, more like winter than summer, didn’t dampen the celebrations of Pride in Orkney as they held their event in the Broad Street car park in the centre of Kirkwall.
After a busy day at their stalls which contained an array of merchandise and games, at two o’clock the Pride march set off through the streets of Kirkwall.
Today, Sunday 30th, Pride will be bringing all that colour and fun to Stenness where they have a fun day. The event kicks off at 11am till 4pm at the Community Centre. There’s lots to do for all the family.
