It will be a mainly dry and bright day with sunny spells. The odd passing shower is possible and heavy showers may drift up from Caithness into southern Orkney in the afternoon. Light west or southwesterly winds. Maximum temperature 17 °C.
Tonight:
A bright end to the day with showers dying out. Remaining largely dry overnight with clear spells but the odd showers affecting Shetland later. Minimum temperature 10 °C.
Sunday 28th July:
A largely dry and bright day with sunny spells, the best of these across Orkney in the afternoon. Scattered light showers, mainly affecting Shetland. Maximum temperature 17 °C.
Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:
Dry, bright and rather warm on Monday then some rain overnight. Sunny spells and scattered showers on Tuesday and Wednesday and feeling a little cooler.
