100 Days of the Green Transition with The Scottish Beacon

In collaboration with Local Storytelling Exchange, The Scottish Beacon, which includes The Orkney News, Shetland News, Greater Govanhill, Doon Valley Gazette, The Lochside Press, Glenkens Gazette, Clydesider, and a host of other local independent media publications, has launched their latest project – 100 Days of the Green Transition.

For the next 3 months The Scottish Beacon will focus on stories about real change in our local communities.

Today The Orkney News shared our story, New Shelter for Fish, by Eamonn Keyes from the Orkney International Science Festival:

Commenting Rhiannon Davies, founder and editor of The Scottish Beacon said :

“Our approach to local journalism has always been about putting communities first. By listening to the issues that matter most, we’re able to highlight the incredible efforts already underway. The green transition is something happening at the grassroots, and this project gives us the opportunity to inspire more action by sharing these stories across communities.”
