A mainly dry, windy day with good sunny spells. The odd shower is possible but passing quickly in strong southwesterly winds, touching gale force in the afternoon. Feeling quite warm out of the winds. Maximum temperature 16 °C.
Tonight:
A windy evening but winds slowly easing a little overnight, otherwise a few fleeting showers and clear spells developing for Orkney, cloudy for much of the night for Shetland. Minimum temperature 12 °C.
Sunday 29 June :
Dry and bright to start on Sunday, breezy at first but winds becoming light, Clouding over for Orkney in the afternoon and Shetland soon after with some evening rain likely. Maximum temperature 15 °C.
Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:
Wet at times on Monday, some heavy bursts and quite blustery too. Dry and bright on Tuesday and Wednesday with lots of sunshine, the odd shower still possible.
