Largely dry across the Northern Isles. Misty to start with low cloud and some haar, particularly along eastern coasts. This will clear westward by late morning with sunny spells developing. Low cloud spreads across Orkney later in the afternoon. Maximum temperature 20 °C.
Tonight:
A dry evening and night across Shetland with some late sunshine then some clear spells. Low cloud, mist and haar across Orkney with the odd shower possible. Minimum temperature 15 °C.
Monday 21 July :
Low cloud, mist and some haar mainly across Orkney. Brighter and clearer across Shetland. Mostly dry, but some patchy rain moves north later in the day. Maximum temperature 22 °C.
Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:
A largely dry few days with light winds, although the odd light shower possible. Some mist, low cloud and haar at times.
