The Organisers of this year’s Refugee Lunch would like to thank all those who came and those who supported the event – an amazing £2,361.92 was raised.

The volunteers of Orkney Friends of Palestine and Amnesty Orkney branch who organised the lunch at the St Magnus Centre, Kirkwall, on Sunday 21 June will donate the money to Al Quds Disabled Children’s Centre in Shufat Refugee Camp in East Jerusalem, and Hope & Play children’s charity in Gaza. Both organisations do incredible work to improve the lives of children and young people in Palestine.
