The day will begin cloudy with the chance of an odd shower across Shetland. Bright or sunny spells will increase across Orkney from late morning before spreading to Shetland in the late afternoon. Maximum temperature 13 °C.

The evening will be cloudy at times but will stay dry. The night will continue dry with clear periods increasing later. Minimum temperature 10 °C.
Friday 30 October :
The morning will begin dry and bright but thickening cloud and patchy rain will spread east from mid-morning. Maximum temperature 13 °C.
Outlook for Saturday to Monday:
Cloudy with patchy rain turning dry and brighter later Saturday. Sunday will continue dry with sunny spells but cloud and further rain spreads east Monday.
