An Opportunity to take Part in Landscape Archaeology in Orkney
The project aims to take people through the whole archaeological process from finding objects in the field, to mapping, processing finds, and interpreting the results. Participants will produce internationally significant research in the World Heritage area, contribute to the wider understanding of these sites and landscapes through time, and learn new skills.

Escalation of Industrial Action As Offshore Workers are Issued with Redundancy Notices
Aker and Petrofac have issued redundancy notices and begun a consultation period on terminating and re-engaging all workers. A thirty day (Aker) and forty-five day (Petrofac) consultation period will begin respectively for both companies.
