This is only the start of what is a most exciting and interesting project set in the heart of Kirkwall.

The cafe is open every Friday from 10am – 11.30am and is situated just behind the Glaitness School.
The pit will be dug to a depth of 1.2m and finds will be sifted, cleaned and recorded.
