Fundraising Meal for Oxfam’s Work in Yemen

A meal to raise funds to support the work of Oxfam in Yemen is to be held on Thursday 26th April, 7.30pm, in the Dil Se Kirkwall. Organised by the Orkney Labour party it is hoped that people will view this as a non party political event and join together to come to the meal.  Fundraising Meal for Yemen

The people of Yemen are suffering in one of the most barbaric conflicts of the 21^st Century because of Saudi Arabia’s bombardment of their country. Britain sells Saudi Arabia arms worth billions.

The organisers need to sell more than 20 tickets at £25 so they are asking people to please buy now either using the link below or by sending a cheque for £25 made out to Orkney Labour Party to :George Vickers, Millfield Cottage, Orkney, KW17 2NJ.

If the meal is to go ahead 20 tickets need to be sold by Friday 13 April
