A two-day event based at the Pickaquoy Centre, Kirkwall on 19th and 20th of September will bring together sports governing bodies from the thirteen sports that will be represented at the 2023 Games.
Work is due to start on 19th of September when contractors, Casey Construction Ltd will fence off the building footprint and set up their offices behind the weigh bridge.

Saturday, 7th of September, saw the display of vehicles old and new as part of the Orkney International Science Festival.
The talk is on Saturday 14th of September at 7.30pm in King St Halls, Kirkwall.
Tankerness Lane will be closed to vehicles throughout the works, with one-way systems in place at various times on Broad Street and Palace Road – with Victoria Street closed to vehicles for approximately five weeks from 6 January 2020.
