We hadn’t eaten at the Daily Scoop since it changed hands so we thought we’d try it, and are very glad we did!
The food was gorgeous, and plenty of it
I was pleased to see that they use actual leaf tea….producing a proper cup of Earl Grey!
I got very full, but then I saw this…
….and I ate that too! Wouldn’t you?
The lunch trade was brisk, and each table was cleared and cleaned as soon as the diners left
There was also a steady stream of folk waiting to be served with ice-cream – not surprising – all those flavours!
I like the details – old prayer chairs painted up and re-used
The tables have been re-varnished, but the groovy marks I’ve noticed previously are still there
Thoroughly recommended!
