On the 8th of March 2018 my wee sister carried my banner and marched with more than 1000s of others, celebrating women of all ages and sizes who have stood up to be counted from every group campaigning, doing and achieving what had to be done whatever needed doing.

My little sister carried my banner because Amnesty International UK named me one of the 100 women… One of the 100 that embodied The Spirit of the Suffragette Movement (and by doing so named my mother, sister, and grandmothers) as well as all my sisters throughout the world who are not defeated by the first or even the tenth NO, be it carrying our children or a flag, banner, or cardboard sign, stand up to be counted for all mankind.

“When You Educate a Man; you educate a man. When You Educate a Woman; You Educate a Generation” and then Some !!
