Tonight:

A cloudy night with a few wintry showers, mainly across Fair Isles and north Orkney. A cold night with strong to gale force southeast winds. Minimum temperature 2 °C.

Friday 23 January :

Another cold and cloudy day with a few showers, wintry on the hills. Strong to gale force southeast winds will ease a little across Shetland. Maximum temperature 4 °C.

Outlook for Saturday to Monday:

Mostly cloudy and cold through this period with a few showers, wintry at times. Winds will often be strong from the east or southeast.
