Rain and sleet over Orkney during the evening otherwise a mostly dry night. Clear spells over Shetland but staying cloudy over Orkney. Windy. Minimum temperature -1 °C.

Friday 6 February :

A mostly dry and cloudy start with bright spells over Shetland at first. Patchy rain spreads to Orkney from the morning and Shetland from the late afternoon. Maximum temperature 4 °C.

Outlook for Saturday to Monday:

Cloudy and windy with rain at times through this period. The rain will become persistent and locally heavy for a time during Sunday.
