Temperatures down on yesterdays highs. Some scattered showers through the morning, which die away during the afternoon. Mainly cloudy but some limited brighter spells developing. Moderate west to southwest breezes. Maximum temperature 9 °C.

Tonight:

Rather cloudy with patchy light rain feeding from the west from mid-evening, as the southwest winds increase to strong. This will mean a mild night. Minimum temperature 6 °C.

Sunday 22 March :

Cloudy start with occasional patchy rain. Clearing to brighter spells and showers by mid-morning, which turn heavier, more frequent from late afternoon. Strong southwest winds touching gale force across Shetland. Maximum temperature 9 °C.

Outlook for Monday to Wednesday:

Showery early Monday then rain reaching from the west from afternoon. Rain soon clearing to showers Tuesday, with outbreaks turning wintry to quite low levels Wednesday.
