Overnight will see a continuation of the blustery showers, interspersed with drier and clear spells. Showers may be heavy and turning increasingly wintry. Strong westerly winds becoming northwesterly. Colder. Minimum temperature 1 °C.
Wednesday 25 March :
Cloudy with sleet and snow showers in the morning, but no significant accumulations. Showers easing in the afternoon to become largely dry. Strong to gale force northwesterly winds. Feeling colder. Maximum temperature 4 °C.
Outlook for Thursday to Saturday:
Wintry showers early Thursday clear to a dry, bright day with light winds, rain spreads east overnight. Sunshine and showers Friday with winds strengthening, then longer spells of rain Saturday.
