Today 12 April :

Cloud and early outbreaks of rain soon clear north to leave bright spells which will be interspersed with blustery showers, some heavy. Strong southeasterly winds with coastal gales. Maximum temperature 9 °C.

Tonight:

The mix of clear spells and blustery showers will continue through the night. The strong southeasterly wind and coastal gales will decrease, turning fresh southerly towards the morning. Minimum temperature 5 °C.

Monday 13 April :

The showers will clear during the morning to leave the afternoon dry with increasing sunny spells over Shetland. Maximum temperature 8 °C.

Outlook for Tuesday to Thursday:

Dry with sunny periods Tuesday. Cloud and rain spread northeast Wednesday, clearing north Wednesday night. Showers follow from the south Thursday.
