MSPs on the Citizen Participation and Public Petitions Committee considered a petition presented by Claire Mitchell QC to pardon and memorialise those convicted under the Witchcraft Act 1563.
Firstly it’s important to state – loud and clear – that self governance for Orkney is for those living in Orkney to decide and to do this democratically at the ballot box.
