The focus of the proposals is on Bridge Street, Albert Street, Broad Street, Castle Street, Victoria Street and Main Street – where it is proposed that the designated parking areas will have a maximum stay of 20 minutes.
It is estimated that 930,000 homes in Scotland are below that standard.

The proposals make no changes to the number of councillors and wards -21 councillors across 6 wards. The ward names will also stay the same.
