Emma Ainsley, artist, and John Phillips, musician, will be exploring the Physicality of Creativity with people living in care homes and in the community of Orkney, thanks to £18,871 of National Lottery funding
“Creativity can be defined as the ability to produce original and relevant ideas in a given context, to solve a problem or improve a situation. It is a key skill for adapting to change or provoking it.” Alizée Lopez-Persem, researcher in cognitive neuroscience at the Institut de Cerveau (PARIS BRAIN INSTITUTE).

The Witch Experience runs from January through to March 2022, during which time participants will take part in several creative activities where they gradually get to develop a historical character.
The findings of the survey will influence the development of the Islands Growth Deal’s ‘Creative Islands Wellbeing Programme
