From the 31st of August face coverings/masks are to be worn in Scotland’s secondary schools.

Today, 10th of July, is the start of the mandatory wearing of face masks/coverings in shops for most people.
Orkney’s retailers have been working very hard to make shopping safer for both workers and consumers.
This coming Friday sees the mandatory use of masks/face coverings in shops in Scotland, presumably also in other indoor locations where social distancing is difficult to achieve.
