The overall picture of diet in Scotland remains very poor. That’s the results of The Scottish Health Survey 2021 (SHeS) with fibre intake among the worst of the survey results.
Aberdeen University’s Rowett Institute is looking for people over the age of 18 who are overweight, healthy and eat a low fibre diet to take part in dietary research.
Hemp, which used to be widely grown in Scotland, is a rich source of protein, dietary fibre, healthy fats and micronutrient minerals such as magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, calcium and zinc.
