The report includes figures comparing outcomes across 19 acute hospital sites and a summary for each hospital site. Data for some smaller hospital sites were removed for disclosure reasons. The figures for NHS Orkney Balfour Hospital are not included.
The figures for Orkney (area served by Kirkwall waste water) last updated on 10th of August 2023 records a massive surge in positive samples.

The number of COVID-19 patients in hospital is an indicative measure of the pressure on hospitals, as these patients still require isolation from other patients for infection control purposes.
