Orcadians will be taking the knee again today, Wednesday 24th of June at 6pm with their doorstep campaign in support of Black Lives Matter.
Sheku was stopped by police and was held face down on the ground within 46 seconds of the arrival of the first two officers. During the restraint, officers used CS spray, batons, leg and ankle restraints and handcuffs.

There has been a mixed response to the announcement that the contract for the Northern Isles Ferries will be put out to tender.
The Minister confirmed that he would be introducing a Transport Bill to the Scottish Parliament in June.

Serco Northlink have also been given an extension to their contract for running the Northern Isles Ferries to 31st October 2019.
