Tackling the issue at source is the theme of Keep Scotland Beautiful’s Source to Sea Week which runs from 8th to 15th September.
LEAF, a programme from the Foundation for Environmental Education (FEE), advocates outdoor learning and hands-on experiences, resulting in pupils gaining a deeper and more involved understanding of the natural world.

Registration for two long-standing environmental improvement initiatives, Beautiful Scotland and It’s Your Neighbourhood are now open until 30 April 2023 and there is no cost to take part.
For 2023 secondary, primary and nursery pupils are being asked to design a colourful and sustainable garden.
From 1st of November the LitterLotto app is a chance to win a weekly prize pot ranging from £50 to £500.
