At the Ness of Brodgar dig, in 2015, the bones of a baby were found, tucked in, by the base of a wall.
“The first exhibition I had a look at, is entitled ‘Artefacts and Inspirations from The Ness of Brodgar’.”
“A little carved ball was found, at the Ness, all covered in muck.”
I had only ever known about Stonehenge so to come across other stone circles that were 1000 years older than Stonehenge was great.
The dig is open to the public from 5th July until 23rd August
