Tributes have been paid by Orkney Islands Council to North Isles Councillor Kevin Woodbridge, who passed away at the weekend following a short illness.

Orkney Islands Council has established an initial £5m fund to support local businesses during the coronavirus pandemic.
A total of 381 applications has been received by the OIC finance team since the scheme opened on March 24 – 311 small business grants; 41 retail grants and 29 which are still to be classified.
Childcare is available for keyworker parents who require it between 8am – 5.30pm, seven days a week.
The grants are for those on benefits or low incomes who have fallen on hard times.
The council is administering the Small Business Grant Fund and the Retail, Hospitality and Leisure Fund on behalf of the Scottish Government.
