Macsween of Edinburgh Ltd has announced the recall of certain foods due to “inadequate” procedures.
This is a precautionary measure due to worries that proper procedures may not have been carried out which could lead to Clostridium botulinum.
A spokesperson for Food Standard Scotland stated: “Our advice to consumers is to not eat the product and return it to the store where it was bought for a full refund.”
The products recalled include varieties supplied to both Lidl and Marks and Spencer.
