Make a HOO

Make a HOO starring Sita Pieraccini came to The Kirkwall Arts Theatre last night where the audience were treated to a masterclass in the visual arts.

The setting is Sri Lanka, where a young woman is searching for her echo and the audience are taken through the delights of sound and atmosphere of Asia encouraging you to use your senses and imaginations, enabling you to make believe you are a part of the exotic; for a short time at least. You could close you eyes and believe you were there; such was the wonderful use of choreography and sound .

Sita brings the stage to life in this solo performance, drawing you in and taking you on her journey.

This show is on again on Tuesday 7th November in The Gable End Hoy at 7.30pm and if you are further down the line it finishes it’s run in Ullapool on Thursday 9th November in The MacPhail Centre at 7.30pm and if you can I really would recommend you try to get along to see it.

If you can’t make either of these two performances watch out for Sita Pieraccini, she has a unique talent and I for one look forward to her future productions.
