Yesterdays was Mucilago crustacea – what a descriptive name – a combination of mucus, and crustiness. Exactly.
It’s good that other folk are sending in their fungi encounters, too…could get v. interesting.

Fly agaric – definitely one to steer clear of! If you want to know how Father Christmas got his colours, and why his reindeer can fly, google fly agaric, shamans, reindeer, Lapland (or some such combination!).
