What’s to be seen, on a lunch-break walk above Stromness.
That’s how to dissolve stress………..then, back to work.

Hey Mike, in the six months and more my wife and I spent in Stromness walking up Brinkie’s Brea was a part of our route. I am sure that we walked it several dozen times for sure. Lots of times we would just keep on going ending up swinging to our right and coming back to town through the newer subdivision. At times we would stop and visit our friends Colin and Minnie Brown; such nice people. Other times we would head down the other side of the hill and walk the fields behind Outer Town. Such wonderful memories and thank you, Richard Wallace
Thanks Richard, pleased to know that conjures such good memories for you. I feel lucky to be able to walk in such places, just a few minutes from work. Given a whole hour for lunch, and the energy to walk briskly, I sometimes like to walk over Brinkie’s Brae to the Outer Town roads, up over by the Stromness Reservoir, and then back into Stromness above Warebeth with Hoy looming large to my right. Magic.
Hi Richard – have you seen this?

That should bring back more memories!
