I’d like to try to change the world,

I’m just a little guy.

I can’t change it all at once

but I can try.

I’d make the sun a little brighter

to light up everywhere.

I’d make the clouds with special shapes

to make the earth feel good.

I’d make the shadows warm and friendly

and the rain could be warm too

to wash away the sadness

that hides in so many places.

I’d make the smiles a little wider

and lots of happy grins.

I’d like for us to think of others

instead of just ourselves.
